This small, pink, slipper-shaped lamp has small circles w/ dotted centers as decoration. The pierced fill hole is in a recess which extends to the slanted, pierced wick hole. The handle is conical. There is evidence of a black paint having once decorated this lamp. Shape: Almond-shaped lamp with slightly off-center oval ring base; carinated body profile; small central fill hole in a concave oblong channel extending to the wick hole at the pointed end of the body; upright conical handle on shoulder at broad end. Decoration: Traces of dark reddish-brown slip on top. Relief on shoulder consisting of four small raised circles w/ central dots on either side of fill hole. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; very worn; some encrustation; few minor chips; heavily burnt around wick hole and on upper body.
