This fictile lamp is of the cocked-hat variety with a brown slip covering its interior. It also has a loop handle on its interior rim, opposite the folded rim. Its base is pitted and flat. Shape: Shallow bowl with flat base and rounded lip, pinched on one side to form a spout; interior vertical handle extending from lip into bowl. Decoration: Glossy dark brown slip covering interior of bowl and handle; possibly also originally on exterior. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Mostly complete; large chip at rim; heavily encrusted; burnt; pitted on exterior.
