This gray, delphiniform lamp has a long, flanged nozzle which bears little decoration. The circular body is decorated by incised lines radiating from the recessed fill hole. The pierced side projection is partially missing. Shape: Round bodied lamp w/ flat base set off by circular groove; carinated body profile; small concave discus with central fill hole; long extended nozzle, rounded at the end; flat ledge around wick hole; partially pierced side lug on right side (nozzle pointing up), now broken away. Decoration: Traces of red-brown slip.  Discus offset by circular groove, extending down nozzle axis forming recessed channel, flanked by volutes; radiating alternating grooves and ridges on shoulder. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Mostly intact; large chip from side lug; chips from wick hole; minor surface chips; burnt; worn.
