This small lamp is of the delphiniform type. It has a long, pointed nozzle, circular body, and a side-projecting handle. The recessed fill hole is surrounded by incised, radiating lines. Shape: Round-bodied lamp with flat, partial disk base, partially outlined by a groove; round body profile; fill hole on top in concave discus; long extended nozzle with slightly triangular end, rounded at the tip; rounded side lug on right side (nozzle pointing up); lamp is lopsided. Decoration: Traces of reddish slip, mostly on top, some on sides. Radiating pattern of alternating grooves and ridges on shoulders. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; minor surface chips; worn; burnt around wick hole.
