This light gray, delphiniform lamp has a short, square nozzle. The side projection is not pierced. The fill hole is large. The design consists of radiating ridges. The lamp was once covered by a dark brown slip. Shape: Round-bodied lamp; sharply carinated in profile, with a slightly concave disk base; broad central fill hole within a flat discus; long extended nozzle, squared at termination; unpierced lug on one side. Decoration: Dark reddish-brown slip (extensive traces). Relief decoration on top consisting of a raised ridge and concentric groove surrounding discus; radiating grooves all around lamp on shoulder; pair of tiny volutes where nozzle joins shoulder. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact but very worn, especially slip; traces of burning around nozzle hole.
