This elongated slipper-shaped lamp has a large wick hole. The pierced fill hole is encircled by a double ridge from which other ridges extend to the wick hole. The handle is pyramidal and sits back on the lamp next to the double ridges. Shape: Elongated slipper shaped lamp with flat base; large round wick hole at narrow end of body; opposite is upright triangular, unpierced handle; concave discus on top with central fill hole. Decoration: Two concentric ridges encircling discus; four parallel ridges extending from discus to wick hole along axis of nozzle. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; heavily burnt.
