This bowl-shaped lamp, with an imperfect dark green glaze and pedestal base, was definitely wheel turned. The long, open nozzle is broken at the end. Part of the funnel neck is missing along with part of the loop handle. Shape: Lamp has disk base, slightly concave on underside; round body with globular profile; raised ridge at juncture of body and neck; neck is broken away and flares upward; vertical ring-shaped handle attached to neck; long open spout extends from body. Decoration: Glossy green slip covering top, inside of spout, and inside of neck; drips down to lower body; lower body mostly unglazed. Inscriptions: None. Condition: At least 3/4 complete; end of spout broken away; top of neck and handle also missing; slightly worn; minor body chips; some encrustation.
