This is a complete dated papal document which mentions Augustinus Barbadito and Thomas Geno. It was written from the Ducal Palace and dated April of 1498 across the bottom. It was written in Italian on a single sheet of vellum. Previously used as a small book binding, the vellum was trimmed along the edges as fold-ins. "DOVIDIO" appears on the back as titling down the spine, probably from a work by Ovid, and the cover area is much darkened. There are holes through which ties were once threaded.
