This tan lamp is covered by a red-orange slip on the top and is of a reverse delphiniform style, having the side projection on the right instead of the left. The nozzle is long and fused gently with the ovoid body. There is no decoration save the ring around the large fill hole. Shape: Round bodied lamp with slightly concave disk base set off by a circular groove; rounded body profile; large central fill hole within narrow concave discus, set off by a groove; long extended nozzle, rounded at end, broad at juncture with body; triangular side lug, concave on top, located on left side (nozzle pointing up). Decoration: Reddish slip (2.5 YR 5/6 red) mainly on top, dribbling down sides, not on bottom. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; some minor surface chips; worn; burning around wick hole.
