This light gray, almond-shaped lamp has very simple designs on it which consist of a double ridged keyhole surrounding the pierced fill hole and extending to and around the pierced wick hole. There is also a rosary around the double ridge. The handle is worn but was conical and is located at the rear of the double ridge. Shape: Almond-shaped slipper lamp with flat base; carinated body profile; small central fill hole; wick hole at pointed end of body; solid upright conical handle at wide end of body, near fill hole. Decoration: Relief decoration on top consisting of keyhole-shaped ridge around fill hole, extending down to surround wick hole; inner groove ending at edge of wick hold, forming depressed channel on nozzle axis; four raised dots in channel, forming shape of Latin cross. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; minor chips; dirt encrusted.
