This fictile lamp is of almond shape and the designs on it are circles with dots in them. There are two ridges extending from the sides of the conical handle and around the pierced wick hold. The fill hold is also pierced centrally over the reservoir. Shape: Almond-shaped lamp with ring base; carinated body profile; central fill hole; wick hole at pointed end of body; upright solid conical handle at broad end. Decoration: Broad depressed channel running from handle to wick hole, with raised ridges on either side; four raised circles with central dots on each shoulder; pairs of raised dots on either side of wick hole. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Mostly complete; large chips from wick hole; other minor chips; worn; encrusted; burnt around wick hole.
