This metal lamp is circular with a heart-shaped handle and large round wick hole protruding from opposite ends. The top is pierced by a number of holes in a random pattern. When viewed from the side it can be seen that there is a loop handle under the heart-shaped one. There is a hole close to the short, upturned nozzle. Shape: Round bodied lamp with slightly concave disk base; five concentric ridges on underside; slightly convex side walls; flat disk top; discus pierced by 14 small holes, one in center and others random; short nozzle curving up from side of body; ledge rim around wick hole, ring handle with two horizontal ridges below small heat shield in shape of ivy leaf. Decoration: Pair of concentric circles around central hole on discus; another incised circle around outer edge of discus. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Mostly complete; hole in side wall; wick hole chipped; chip from tip of heat shield; patches of bronze disease and whitish residue on underside
