This dark brown lamp has a slightly ovoid body and a long, flanged nozzle. The fill hole recess is decorated by a petal design at the front of it. Towards the nozzle there is a worn relief which resembles a face. Shape: Round bodied lamp with flat base set off by shallow circular groove; slightly carinated body profile; long extended nozzle rounded at end; small central fill hole. Decoration: Covered with brown slip on all surfaces. Relief decoration on top consisting of nine-petal rosette radiating from fill hole; seven deep radiating grooves on shoulder with raised areas between; small frontal head on top of nozzle at juncture with body. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; crack across top of body; worn; very heavily burnt on nozzle.
