This brown lamp with an ovoid body has a long, flanged nozzle. There is a smiling face at the front of the petal-decorated fill hole recess. The lamp is chipped in a few places.
Shape: Round bodied lamp with flat base set off by shallow circular groove. Slightly carinated body profile. Small central fill hole. Long extended nozzle rounded at end.
Decoration: Covered with brown slip on all surfaces. Relief decoration on top consisting of nine-petal rosette radiating from fill hole. Seven deep radiating grooves on shoulder with raised areas between. Small frontal grimacing face on top of nozzle at juncture with body.
Inscriptions: None.
Condition: Intact. Several large chips from body, very worn, traces of burning around wick hole.
