This black, delphiniform lamp is lacking in any decoration other than the ridges on the pointed nozzle. The side projection is pierced and the fill hole is large. Shape: Round-bodied lamp with ring base set off by inner and outer grooves; sharply carinated body profile; long extended flaring nozzle, rounded at end; flat ledge around wick hole; pierced side lug; small concave discus set off by circular groove with relatively large central fill hole. Decoration: Lustrous black slip covering all surfaces. Two parallel ridges on nozzle axis. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; minor surface chips.
