This grey lamp is basically almond-shaped, although it too is a frog lamp. The frog design on it consists of a very few lines but the hind legs are recognizable and the rest of the body can be imagined. There is a worn potter's mark on the bottom. Shape: Almond-shaped lamp with ring base and sharply carinated profile; central fill hole within small concave discus; wick hole at pointed end of body. Decoration:  Frog lamp. Relief decoration on top consisting of highly stylized frog with hind legs and triangular cross-barred tail opposite nozzle; truncated forelegs indicated on either side; band of ladder pattern on axis of nozzle flanked by raised ridges. Inscriptions: Potter's mark on base. Condition: Intact; fairly good condition.
