This light grey lamp is of the frog variety, the nozzle is short and thick, the body basically circular. Around the centrally pierced fill hole is the frog design which consists of four fields of checkered design. The rear feet are recognizable though somewhat stylized. Shape: Round-bodied lamp w/ring base with convex center; extended nozzle with rounded termination; raised ridge around nearly central fill hole. Decoration: Relief decoration on top consisting of stylized "frog" pattern; cone-shaped tail and two hind legs opposite spout; four areas filled with raised checkerboard design divided by raised ridges; at juncture of body and nozzle are three small raised circles, two rows of diagonal cross-hatching, and two rows of raised squares leading from fill hole to wick hole. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; few minor chips; burning around nozzle and fill hole.
