This lamp is circular in form. The short, thick nozzle extends out from the circle and is fluted. The pierced discus is lacking design. Shape: Round bodied lamp with flat base; nearly straight sides; broad concave discus with slightly off-center fill hole; short triangular nozzle, rounded at the end. Decoration: Covered with reddish brown to dark brown slip on all sides.  Pair of volutes flanking nozzle, extending into tapered ridges on sides of body; two circular concentric grooves at outer edge of discus. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; some minor chips; worn; burnt around wick hole.
