This metal lamp is of the Aladdin's lamp shape, having a circular pedestal base supporting a whale-shaped body. The nozzle is the "tail" and is upturned at the end. The fill hole is of the vase-neck variety but is now mostly broken. Shape: Lamp with cone-shaped pedestal base; elongated rounded body with long extended upcurving nozzle with ledge rim around wick hole; high vertical neck around fill hole opening; roughly crescent-shaped handle in back with two rivets for attachment of something, now missing. Decoration: None. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Broken around neck and upper body; much of neck missing; handle also broken; blackened; soil encrustation; whitish residue near handle; traces of green oxidation.
